Aug 17, 2011 (newstodate): For the first time in its history, Ukraine International Airlines has now launched flights on a new route between Kiev and Moscow.
UIA is offering three weekly rotations on the route from Kiev Borispol Airport using Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
So far, Aerosvit has been the only Ukrainean carrier with traffic rights on the route that is also served by Russian carriers Transaero with two daily rotations and S7 offering one weekly rotation.
