Aug 25, 2011 (newstodate): The UK carrier Eastern Airways is planning flights on a new route between Scotland and Norway.
Effective from September 12, 2011, the carrier will offer three weekly rotations between Glasgow and Stavanger, aiming primarily at the dense business traffic between North Atlantic centers of oil exploration and production.
The carrier is already strongly present in the Norwegian market with flights from Aberdeen and Newcastle to Stavanger, Bergen and Oslo.
Eastern Airways has a fleet of 29 aircraft, including eight SAAB 2000.
