Aug 16, 2011 (newstodate): The Lithuanian integrated aircraft maintenance and repair organization, FL Technics is expanding its capabilities by launching cabin modification and reconfiguration services on two ex-factory Boeing 737-800, and cabin refurbishment service on Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
The two Boeing 737-800 aircraft delivered to the Russian carrier Transaero reached the FL Technics hangar straight from Boeing for full cabin interior refurbishment from August 4, 2011.
All modification and reconfiguration works were carried out in the FL Technics-owned facilities in Vilnius.
Under the newly signed cooperation agreement with one of the largest Russian carriers Transaero Airlines, FL Technics also replaced the company's business class seats on the carrier's two Boeing 737-300 aircraft with economy class seating arrangements.
In close cooperation with Transaero Airlines, FL Technics provides spare parts solutions, line and base maintenance, technical training and other services.
