Aug 12, 2011 (newstodate): Latvia's Riga Airport saw little growth in cargo volumes in July 2011.
A total of 1,101 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled at the airport, only four percent up on July 2010.
Totals included 471 tonnes of exports, up four percent, and 630 tonnes of imports, also up four percent, y-o-y.
Volumes January-July 2011 now stand at 7,011 tonnes, up four percent y-o-y.
In July, the Latvian carrier airBaltic maintained its dominating position with 62.3 percent of the market, 686 tonnes half of which was air mail shipments.
