Estonia saw its passenger volumes at Tallinn Airport soaring by 37.1 percent, y-o-y, during January-June 2011, also making it the fastest growing aviation market in passenger numbers, according to AEA figures.
Lithuania's passenger volumes at Vilnius Airport were also growing steeply during H1, rising 17.6 percent.
Finally, Latvia came last of the three Baltic markets, with a growth in passenger volumes at Riga Airport by 13.8 percent.
In concrete figures on passenger volumes in the three Baltic airports, one airport accounted for almost 60 percent of the total number of passengers: Latvia's Riga Airport with 2,384,909 passengers in H1.
