Aug 31, 2011 (newstodate): Preparations to move all cargo handling by Spirit Air Cargo Handling into one location at Terminal North, Copenhagen Airport, are progressing.
-We are in talks with Copenhagen Airport over the crucial issue of the airside/landside separation, but this has still not been finally settled, says Carsten Johansson, Spirit Air Cargo Handling managing director.
-After solving this issue, Copenhagen Airport can refer the project to Trafikstyrelsen for security approval of Terminal North, and all other issues will then fall into place, allowing us to move all handling activities currently going on at three different locations into one unified terminal, says Mr Johansson.
Spirit Air Cargo Handling now expects the process to be fully completed during the 4th quarter of 2011.
