Aug 05, 2011 (newstodate): The third Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft is soon to enter commercial service.
The aircraft will be handed over to Aeroflot in August 2011, and the acceptance process is already going on.
Aeroflot took delivery of its first Superjet 100 in June 2011, and the first Superjet 100 to enter commercial service was delivered to the Armenian carrier Armavia on April 21, 2011.
Armavia has, however, experienced problems with the engines of the Superjet and the aircraft was grounded on July 23, 2011 after having performed 234 flights on routes from Yerevan to destinations including Moscow, Rome and other cities.
