According to IATA CASS statistics for June 2011 in the Nordic markets, three of four markets saw negative growth in airfreight exports volumes on IATA carriers, compared to June 2010.
Sweden was the only exception to the negative trend, generating 12,413 tonnes of air cargo, up 18.7 percent, y-o-y.
Denmark saw the region's largest drop in export airfreight volumes, totaling 5,674 tonnes, down 12.6 percent y-o-y.
As the second-largest Nordic airfreight market, Norway generated a total of 7,229 tonnes of cargo which was a decrease by 6.1 percent, y-o-y.
Finally, Finland, with a total of 3,295 tonnes of IATA export airfreight, was down 8.5 percent compared to June 2010.
