Jul 27, 2011 (newstodate): Lufthansa Technik Logistik and SuperJet International are stepping up their cooperation to ensuring rapid and reliable spares provisioning for future operators of the SuperJet 100 aircraft.
The two parties already cooperate over warehousing service comprising spares from the aircraft manufacturer's component pool in its Frankfurt warehouse, and this is now to be expanded with Lufthansa Technik Logistik taking over all the transport services for the Italian-Russian aircraft manufacturer's suppliers in France, Switzerland, Germany, the United Kingdom and the USA to the LTL warehouse in Frankfurt, and from there to the Superjet 100 operators.
LTL will start by supplying the launching customers of the Superjet 100, Aeroflot at Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport and the Armavia at Yerevan Airport in Armenia.
