Jul 28, 2011 (newstodate): Russia's first low-cost carrier Sky Express is to add Airbus aircraft to its fleet so far consisting of eight Boeing 737 aircraft.
The carrier has taken delivery of its first Airbus A319, and two more will follow in August - all delivered on an operational leasing contract.
Sky Express, based at Moscow Vnukovo Airport, performed its first flight on January 29, 2007, and is now operating on a network comprising 14 regular scheduled domestic flights from Moscow as well as charter flights from Moscow on 25 routes to international destinations.
