Jul 26, 2011 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's Almaty Airport is to land another significant cargo operator as Etihad Crystal Cargo opens a new freighter service from the Gulf region.
Effective from July 28, 2011, the company will operate a weekly service between Abu Dhabi and Almaty with its Airbus A330-200F aircraft, offering 59 tonnes of cargo capacity.
This will be Etihad Crystal Cargo's first Kazakh freighter operation to supplement the belly-hold capacity on Etihad's three weekly passenger services between Abu Dhabi and Almaty.
