Jul 25, 2011 (newstodate): Lithuania's AviaAM Leasing has acquired eight Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft from various special purpose companies managed by the German Operating Aircraft Leasing GmbH & Co. KG, GOAL.
The first of the eight aircraft are to be delivered by Q4, 2011, on leasing contracts with yet-undisclosed clients in Russia and the CIS.
Currently the only aircraft leasing company in Eastern Europe and the Baltic States, AviaAM Leasing now has 18 owned and managed aircraft in its portfolio, and plans for expansion of its fleet after existing shareholders and various have now agreed on new bank investment programs.
Established in 2007, AviaAM Leasing is headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, with representative offices in Russia, Poland, Estonia and Italy.
