Aeroflot has sold the carrier to Norilsk Nickel in Norilsk that is one destination served by the carrier.
After a fatal accident in 2008 Aeroflot changed the name of the carrier into Nordavia to defend its own brand name.
Nordavia operates mainly regional domestic flights but also a flight to Helsinki with a fleet comprising 18 Boeing 737 and five AN-24 aircraft.
