Jun 03, 2011 (newstodate): The Ukrainean company Master Avia is to invest heavily in modernization of the country's Kiev Zhuliany Airport.
Master Avia emerged as the winner of the tender for a 49 year management contract for the airport's buildings including hangars, terminals, warehouses and other facilities.
Master Avia will now construct two new terminals and refurbish the airport's existing terminals to modern standards.
The company will also construct two new hangars, one for aircraft maintenance and another for air cargo purposes.
The airport has one 2,310m runway.
