Jun 14, 2011 (newstodate): Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport is seeing brisk growth in its cargo volumes in 2011.
In May, a total of 8,015 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport - an increase by 15 percent, y-o-y.
The growth was driven by international cargo that grew 22.9 percent to 5,655 tonnes, while domestic cargo dropped 0.3 percent to 2,360 tonnes.
For January-May 2011, the airport has reported a total of 38,419 tonnes, an increase by 15 percent, y-o-y, again with international cargo up 22.19.7 percent, y-o-y, to 26,353 tones, as the key driver.
