Jun 16, 2011 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Polet Airlines is preparing to add more aircraft in 2011.
In September, the carrier will take delivery of its fourth IL-96-400T freighter aircraft.
The first IL-96-400T was delivered in August 2009, and the following two in 2010.
Polet Airlines is so far the only operator of the IL-96-400T freighter that was originally intended for Aeroflot-Cargo that later abrogated the contract.
September 2011 will also see the delivery to Polet of the first of 10 AN-148 passenger aircraft ordered.
