Jun 16, 2011 (newstodate): The Lithuanian ground handling provider Baltic Ground Services has landed a new airline customer in Poland.
The Ukrainean carrier Aerosvit has selected BGS to provide a full handling package for its passengers and aircraft from Kiev to Warsaw Frederic Chopin International Airport.
From this spring, BGS opened Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport as its first Polish station with City Airlines as the launch customer with a full package including passenger and aircraft ground handling services and aircraft refueling services.
Baltic Ground Services is licensed to provide ground handling services at five other airports in Poland - Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Poznan and Katowice.
The second Polish station to be opened by BGS will be Krakow, initially focusing on refueling services.
