Jun 21, 2011 (newstodate): The Latvian ground handling provider North Hub Services is now gaining grounds at its latest new base - Sweden's Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
Launch customers from the start on June 1, 2011, were Primera Air and Pegasus Airlines with 15 and four weekly rotations at the airport, respectively.
Latest additions to the list of airline customers are the Ukrainean carrier Aerosvit from July 1, 2011, and the Latvian carrier airBaltic from July 5, 2011.
The two new customers will bring in the handling of 10 and 28 weekly flights, respectively, at the the Stockholm base.
-To date, we have serviced a total 100 flights in Stockholm, and NMorth Hub Services now provides handling services to more than 180 daily flights in Riga, Helsinki and Stockholm, says Janis Balkens, NHS CEO.
Next to come is the opening of handling services at another Swedish airport - Gothenburg Landvetter Airport.
