Jun 06, 2011 (newstodate): Starting from May 14, 2011, Korean Air Cargo has launched new freighter flights at Navoi International Airport, Uzbekistan.
The new flights with Boeing 747-400F will be operated between Miami and New York in the USA and Brussels in Europe, transiting through Navoi Airport.
At Navoi, imports from and exports to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will be transported on road feeder services.
Korean Air Cargo will also transit 12 weekly Boeing 747-400F flights between Seoul and Brussels/Milan through Navoi.
Short-term plans also include Uzbekistan Airways operations with the two Airbus A300-600F freighters, provided by Korean Air Cargo, on routes between Navoi and Bangladesh, Dubai, Germany, India, Turkey and the USA.
