Jun 24, 2011 (newstodate): Iran Air has now also lost Serbia as a convenient re-fueling point for its European flights.
Iran Air has used Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport extensively during recent months for fueling its Airbus A300 aircraft operating on routes between Tehran and destinations in western Europe where its has been banned from fueling due to the sanctions imposed on the country.
This has gained further momentum after the US administration has imposed strict sanctions on Iran Air that is reportedly operating also for Iran's military and the Revolutionary Guards.
