Jun 28, 2011 (newstodate): Changes are fast taking place in Hungary's civil aviation - and more is yet to come.
Earlier this month, Hungary's Development Ministry announced its decision to let go of its 25 percent plus one share in the capital airport, Budapest Ferihegy Airport, to Hochtief that already holds 37.3 percent of the stake.
After that, Hochtief will have the full control over the airport's future development.
And the Chinese premier minister, during his visit to Hungary, has facilitated a range of new agreements between Hungarian and Chinese partners, some of which concerns air transportation, airport development and other related issues.
The new understanding with China may also indicate a future take-over by Chinese interests of the Hungarian carrier Malev.
