Jun 03, 2011 (newstodate): Czech Connect Airlines, based in Ostrava, Czech Republic, has doubled its aircraft fleet from June 2, 2011.
Established in 2005, the carrier has so far been operating one Boeing 737-300 aircraft, but has now taken delivery of its second aircraft, a Boeing 737-400.
The carrier currently operates on routes from Brno to Moscow, St Petersburg, from Karlovy Vary to Ekaterinburg, from Prague to Geneva and Athens, in addition to charter flights to various destinations.
Earlier named Czech Connect Airlines, Central Connect Airlines is part of the Central Connect Group that includes Job Air providing SAAB 340 aircraft maintenance and cargo conversions, and Let´s Fly, a Slovak aviation school.
