Jun 14, 2011 (newstodate): Air cargo is not exactly booming in Croatia in 2011.
During January-May 2011, the country's largest airfreight volumes were handled at Zagreb Airport where totals, however, dropped 17.6 percent, y-o-y, to 3,000 tonnes.
Second-largest volumes were generated by Split airport with 245 tonnes, up 2.1 percent, followed by Dubrovnik Airport that handled 156 tonnes of cargo, up 9.6 percent.
In May 2011, a total of 844 tonnes was handled at Croatia's airports, down three percent, y-o-y.
