Jun 06, 2010 (newstodate): Still officially unconfirmed, Aeroflot is said to have received its first Superjet 100 aircraft.
The aircraft is reportedly now under registration, with the last formal clearances being performed, and will make its commercial debut with the carrier on June 16, 2011, on the route between Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport and Nizhnyi Novgorod.
Aeroflot originally ordered 30 units but has since agreed to take delivery of a further 10 aircraft as part of the negotiations over compensation from Sukhoi for much delayed delivery.
The first Superjet 100 was initially planned for delivery to Aeroflot by 2008.
