May 31, 2011 (newstodate): Thai Airways is strengthening its presence in the Scandinavia by introducing, from November 4, 2011, direct flights from Copenhagen to Phuket.
The new flights - the carrier's first direct service from Europe to the Thai leisure destination- with three weekly rotations including a return flight via Bangkok, will be operated till the end of March, 2012, with Boeing 747-400 aircraft.
The new seasonal flights come as an addition to the carrier's daily flights from Bangkok to Copenhagen and Stockholm as well as currently five weekly flights to Oslo.
