May 18, 2011 (newstodate): Sweden's pilot training institute, RJ Flight Academy, at Stockholm, is still without certification to run its business.
The Swedish agency Transportstyrelsen temporarily recalled the training institute's license on April 14, 2011, citing its "lack of confidence" in the institute's CEO, Johan Ruud.
To re-open business, the institute will have to name a new Head of Training with the necessary certificates.
But the situation remains unclear, and Johan Ruud has not been willing to provide any comments despite repeated efforts by newstodate to reach him.
The Swedish Transportstyrelsen confirmed on May 17 that it had till not received any application for certifying a new Head of Training at the institute, leaving it closed down.
