May 02, 2011 (newstodate): The Swedish air taxi & cargo company Orebro Aviation changed ownership from the start of 2011.
New owner is Johan Ruud, acquiring the shares of former owners Jan and Monica Poehner and bringing the carrier into his group of companies, RJ Aviation, that also includes the pilot training institute, RJ Flight Academy, at Stockholm, currently closed down by the Swedish authority Transportsstyrelsen.
In the fleet of Orebro Aviations is one Piper Navajo aircraft, primarily used for air taxi operations but also available for cargo flights with small urgent shipments.
-We are only now integrating the company within our group and our prime priority at this stage is of course to service the existing clients. After that we will look deeper into new prospects and formulate a fresh strategy for the development of Orebro Aviation, says a company spokesman.
