May 25, 2011 (newstodate): Following on the delivery of the second Superjet 100 aircraft, this time to Aeroflot, Superjet International has disclosed the intention to present a new stretched version of the Russian medium-haul commercial aircraft.
To be named Superjet 130, the aircraft will increase seat capacity to up to 130, against the capacity of up to 100 passengers on the existing version.
Plans are to unveil the new Superjet 130 at the forthcoming aerospace exhibition in Paris, France.
