May 17, 2011 (newstodate): The Norwegian carrier Wideroe, member of the SAS Group, has taken delivery of its first of three Bombardier Dash 8-200 aircraft.
The -200 aircraft, formerly operated by Saudi Aramco, will gradually replace two of the carrier's currently 19 Dash 8-100 aircraft.
There are now 34 Dash 8 aircraft in Wiederoe's fleet, including 18 Dash 8-100, eight -200 and seven Dash 8 Q400, with two more of these on order.
