May 26, 2011 (newstodate): Work on construction of the new passenger terminal at Armenia's Yerevan Zvartnots Airport is progressing.
Designed to a handling capacity of 3.5 mio passengers annually, the project is now 78 percent completed, and will be commissioned during this year's autumn.
Since December 17, 2001, Yerevan Zvartnots Airport has been managed under a contract with Armenian International Airports, owned by Eduardo Ernekyan, Argentina.
