Only a few weeks after the happy tidings of Delta Air Lines' renewed opening of summer flights between Atlanta and Copenhagen, adding to the existing all-year services by Delta between New York and Copenhagen as well as Stockholm, news are now out that Delta is pulling out entirely from the Scandinavian markets from September 12, 2011, when the Atlanta flights will also stop.
The carrier is now to operate daily flights on the route from Atlanta from June 2, 2011 with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, while the daily services from New York from Copenhagen Airport and Stockholm Arlanda Airport is using Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
Delta Airlines Cargo appointed ProActive Airlines Services to provide GSA services in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland in April, 2008.
