May 31, 2011 (newstodate): Over-all cargo volumes on Russian carriers increased modestly by 6.7 percent, y-o-y, during January-April 2011.
A total of 295,309 tonnes were carried, with 78,821 tonnes generated in April 2011, which saw an increase by 3.8 percent, y-o-y.
During the first four months of 2011, AirBridgeCargo topped the list among the Russian carriers with 103,999 tonnes, up 25.7 percent, followed by Aeroflot with 46,504 tonnes, up 3.5 percent, Volga-Dnepr with 20,199 tonnes, down 44.8 percent, Polet with 20,654 tonnes, up 58.6 percent, and Transaero with 131,058 tonnes, up 39.9 percent.
