Apr 27, 2011 (newstodate): Aviator Airport Alliance, the new cooperation between three Scandinavian airport ground handling providers formed in November, 2010, is now starting to work out a strategy for its future development.
Driving the process is the recent acquisition of the Danish airport handling company Novia marking Aviator's entry into Copenhagen Airport, and the naming of its CEO, Paul Synnott who took up his office only recently.
-We are now operating at 24 airports in Scandinavia, each airport having its own particularities and special conditions also reflecting the individual partners of the cooperation.
-Besides, the acquisition of Novia has also brought in an airport passenger lounge operation which is new to us.
-So work is now underway to formulate a long-term strategy for Aviator, and until this task is completed we will just focus on the on-going business which also includes the launch of operations by Copenhagen Flight Services, an indirect subsidiary of Aviator, says Mr Synnott.
