The airline has signed a contract to take delivery of a further 20 ATR 72-500 aircraft, up from an earlier decision to go for 10 of these new aircraft.
In the fleet of UTAir, based at Khanty Mansiysk, are already 14 ATR 42-300 and three ATR 72-300.
Besides, UTAir operates Btwo Boeing 757, seven Boeing 737-400, sixteen Boeing 737-500, 20 Tu-154M, 28 Tu-134A, 13 CRJ-200, one Challenger 300, two Gulfstream, 29 An-24/26, 2 An-74, 3 Jak-40, 2 L-410, and 47 An-2 aircraft.
UTAir is also one of the world's largest operators of rotary-wing aircraft, with a fleet of 187 helicopters engaged in world-wide operations.
