Apr 15, 2011 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Ural Airlines, based at Yekaterinburg, Russia, is determined to build up its fleet of Airbus aircraft.
The carrier has signed an operational lease contract for delivery of one Airbus A321 aircraft after having signed similar A321 contract last month.
Furthermore, Ural Airlines is reportedly to add a third A321 contrqct later this year already.
In the fleet are already 16 Airbus aircraft, including 12 A320-200 and four A321-200 aircraft.
Since 2010 the all-Airbus fleet has replaced Ural Airlines' earlier fleet of Soviet-built Antonov An-24, Ilyushin Il-86 and Tupolev Tu-154 aircraft.
