Apr 15, 2011 (newstodate): Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport has again revised its figures for cargo volumes in 2010.
Originally, the official statistics published on the web reported a decline by 10 percent, y-o-y to, 70,011 tonnes.
Then the figures were adjusted to a total of 86,898 tonnes, an increase by 10.6 percent over the preceding year.
Now the statistics have been revised again, landing at a total of 85,939 tonnes, a decrease by two percent, y-o-y.
The totals include 59,878 tonnes of cargo, and 26,161 tonnes of mail, down 0.3 and 5.5 percent, y-o-y, respectively.
These statistics include only flown mail volumes, however.
But the airport handled also 74,400 tonnes of trucked cargo in 2010, which was an increase by 14 percent, y-o-y.
Counted together, flown and trucked cargo was thus 160,100 tonnes - an increase by five percent over the preceding year.
