Apr 14, 2011 (newstodate): The opening of flights between Bahrain and Copenhagen by Gulf Air will add yet another non-stop direct venue for air cargo as well.
Effective from July 1, 2011, Gulf Air will offer four rotations on the route with Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
With onward connections via Bahrain to a range of destination in the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent, Gulf Air Cargo expects the new route to attract airfreight business in the Scandinavian markets as well.
-I only received notification on April 11 about our new service. But we are currently represented by Kales Airline Services in Scandinavia, and I therefore expect them to promote our new service from Copenhagen, says Carl Dias, Gulf Air Cargo Regional Cargo Manager - Europe & North America.
