Apr 13, 2011 (newstodate): The Kazakh carrier Semeyavia has now two ERJ-145 aircraft in its fleet.
The lease arrangements for the two aircraft, formerly operated by BA Connect and Flybe, were negotiated by Airstream International that has completed transactions involving more than 60 ERJ-145 aircraft over the last years.
Semeyavia, based at Semey, Kazakhstan, operates scheduled domestic flights between Semey Airport and Almaty International Airport, formerly operatedf a fleet of YAK-40 aircraft but has started replacing them with western-built aircraft due to the EU ban on its operations.
