Apr 13, 2011 (newstodate): Lufthansa Consulting and Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide have emerged as the winners of the tender for drawing up the master plan for reconstruction of Russia's Perm Bolshoye Savino Airport.
Also participating in the tender were ECOM, Hochtief and Changi Airports International.
After the signing of the final contract, expected by the end of this month, the German companies will have 34 weeks to finalize the master plan.
In the existing plans for development of Perm Bolshoye Savino Airport is an expansion of the current passenger terminal's handling capacity from 200 to 600 passengers per hour, as well as construction of a new cargo terminal.
The joint military-civil airport has one 3,200 m runway, and is served by airlines including Aeroflot, UTAir and Lufthansa.
