Apr 08, 2011 (newstodate): Low-cost carriers seemingly do not find a tempting market in Finland, in contrast to the near-by regions of Scandinavia and the Baltics.
With easyJet closing down its existing routes out of Helsinki, only Blue1, a member of the SAS Group, will offer anything like low-cost options for the Finnish travelers including flights to London and Paris.
easyJet now operates three flights to and from Helsinki, including flights from Manchester, closing down from June 13, 2011, flights from London, closing down on June 22, and flights from Paris, with last service on July 7, 2011.
