Apr 05, 2011 (newstodate): It seems a long way to go before the fledgling new Swedish carrier and capacity provider under formation, Swedish Moose will take to the air on its maiden flight.
A recent inquiry at the Swedish Transport Agency confirms that no change has taken place since early February when the Agency said the process for issuing the airline's AOC was about 70 percent completed.
-There a still some snags and issues remaining, but basically the process is on tracks, and I expect Swedish Moose to go live in the first half of this year, Daniel Lundberg, Swedish Moose managing director, told newstodate in February 2011.
In November 2010, Mr Lundberg told newstodate he expected to land the AOC "at least" before the end of the year.
Already in November 2010, the carrier was recruiting cockpit and cabin crews for its Airbus A320 aircraft fleet that will be based at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
