Apr 28, 2011 (newstodate): Bulgaria's Sofia Airport saw cargo volumes rising during this year's first quarter.
A total of 3,667 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, an increase by five percent over Q1 in 2010.
Of the total volume handled, cargo on scheduled passenger flights increased by six percent, while cargo on special chartered flights was up by four percent, y-o-y.
