Apr 20, 2011 (newstodate): While Boeing is yet to confirm the eventual delivery date for the first, long-delayed Boeing 787 Dreamliner, two more versions are on the table.
The first version, Boeing 787-8, offering 230 seats and 15.200 km range, is to be delivered later this year.
The next version, a stretched 270-seat aircraft Boeing 787-9 offering 15.200 km range, is currently in development and scheduled to enter service in late 2013.
A third version, Boeing 787-10, will offer more seats and cargo capacity, but less range: about 300 seats and 12,700 km range.
