Apr 18, 2011 (newstodate): Effective from June 10, 2011, the Belarus carrier Belavia plans to open flights on its second route into Kaliningrad, the Russian Baltic Sea enclave.
Using Bombardier CRJ100/200 aircraft, Belavia will offer two weekly rotations on the route between Brest, Belarus, and Kaliningrad.
Belavia already provides flights to Kaliningrad from Minsk, the Belarus capital.
Based at Minsk, Belavia now operates a fleet comprising four Bombardier CRJ100/200, six Boeing 737-500, three Boeing 737-300 and four TU-154M aircraft.
