Apr 11, 2011 (newstodate): The Lithuanian ground handling provider Baltic Ground Services has landed a new contract at its new location at Polands' Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport.
BGS is to provide handling of the Hungarian low-cost operator WIZZ Air, starting from May 24, 2011.
WIZZ Air is already a customer of Baltic Ground Service at its home base at Vilnius Airport, Lithuania.
BGS went online at Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport from the start of this year, with City Airlines as its launch customer.
The handling provider has also opened its second Polish station at Krakow, initially focusing on aircraft fueling services, but plans are also to open stations at Wroclaw, Gdansk, Poznan and Katowice.
