Apr 08, 2011 (newstodate): The Russian carrier S7 Sibir Airlines is building up its fleet of western-built aircraft.
The latest addition to the fleet is an Airbus A319 that has thus become the 20th aircraft of this type in the fleet, delivered on a lease contract with IFLC.
In spring 2011, S7 will also take delivery of two Boeing 737-800 aircraft adding to the four of this type already in service.
With a total of 40 aircraft in the all-western fleet, S7 is also operating nine Airbus A320, one Airbus A310, two Boeing 767-300, and four Boeing 737-400 aircraft.
