Mar 16, 2011 (newstodate): The Slovakian airline Danube Wings, based at Bratislava, is expanding its aircraft fleet.
The carrier plans to take delivery of its fourth aircraft in April - a Boeing 737-300 aircraft enabling it to add more regular and charter flights to more distant destinations.
Till now the carrier has relied on chartering aircraft from other airlines to fulfill contracts for carriage over longer distances.
The airline is currently operating a fleet comprising three ATR 72 aircraft.
The Boeing 737-300 was earlier operated by the now-defunct Slovakian carrier Central Charter Airlines.
