Mar 02, 2011 (newstodate): The Russian cargo carrier Polet has plans for expanding its freighter services between China and Europe.
The airline currently provides two weekly flights to Beijing and Shanghai, respectively, Via Moscow and Novosibirsk to points in Europe, but frequencies will be increased in the near future.
In 2010 the airline lifted a total of 32,182 tonnes of cargo, up 120 percent, y-o-y, with the introduction of the IL-96-400T from September 2010 alongside the AN-124 operations.
