Mar 30, 2011 (newstodate): Russia's charter operations carrier Taimyr Airlines, also named NordStar Airlines has taken delivery of its first ATR 42-500 aircraft.
NordStar Airlines has placed firm orders for a total of four aircraft, and also holds options for a further three aircraft.
Based at Krasnoyarsk, NordStar Airlines will operate the ATR 42-500 aircraft on routes to new regional destinations as well as to destinations including Novosibirsk, Irkutsk and Ekaterinburg.
The carrier also operates a fleet of five Boeing 737-800 aircraft with orders for four more deliveries.
