Mar 07, 2011 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Ak Bars Aero, based at Bugulma, is building up its fleet of Bombardier aircraft.
This month the carrier has taken delivery of its sixth Bombardier CRJ200LR aircraft, with one more to follow by the end of April 2011.
The aircraft are acquired on leasing contracts with a US leasing company and earlier served with the US carrier Comair.
Ak Bars Aero also operates a fleet of 11 YAK-40 aircraft.
